A $1000 helicopter drop from windfall taxing american companies is not pandering?

Al,

I just think it's amusing and hypocritical to spend months building a case on experience and then choose a neophyte as the potential replacement for a 72 year old.

Aaahh. The hyporcicy.

It seems to be the safe way out of any losing argument - bringing up some real or perceived hypocricy.

If hypocracy is THE issue for you, don't you find it interesting (or dare I asy hypocritical) for Obama and his media acolytes to question Palin's experience?

Picking Palin is shameless pandering...interestingly her first appeal to clinton and ferraro followers is naive, considering her hyper conservative views.

I think you are underestimating the number of people (many Catholics, for example) who are conservative and at the same time registered Democrat. Because of the high profile primaries, they came out and kept Hillary alive in later primaries. Some of the conservative Democrats (or Reagan Democrats) as well as independents are in play, IMO.
