Thanks for the link. Can Sarah change John's mind about ANWR?

i am with you CC....would have preferred a more "seasoned" washington figurehead.

i am afraid that most of the crowd that mccain and company are targeting with this choice is going to look at her only as leverage against obama/clinton/biden (in that order) and nothing more....

they may very well be ignorant to what may possibly turn out to be a sound, balanced choice with plenty of fresh brain power to butt against the ole boys club in DC.

best
joe

<<<<I'm impressed by Sarah Palin's knowledge of energy. Good god, I've NEVER heard a politician lay it out like she does in her interview with Maria B.>>>>

CC
The wife and I were also imparessed with Sarah's interview with Maria. I think NOT being tuned into Washington may be a blessing. The NBC News the other night showing the private party in Denver with all the big shot Democrat politicians should have been a turnoff for all voters.

Sarah's description of of ANWAR was right on. Also, only 20,000 acres out of 20,000,000 to be drilled. Going after the crooked politicians of any stripe I liked. Maybe she should be running for president.

Thanks for the great link Michael. I am impressed with Gov Palins knowledge of energy and her well spoken style.

I also like Sen Hutchinson but maybe Palins lack of an address in D.C. is her greatest attribute. I think McCain has chosen an interesting running mate.

My prayers are with all you folks on the Gulf Coast. Bob

CC - Excellent link. Gov Palin is one smart woman. I am impressed with not only her overall knowledge of the energy industry, but her fighting corruption at all levels. McCain hit it out of the park with this choice.

And its funny I say that because even though I am very conservative and despise the liberal agenda, I had my doubts about McCain. Actually changed my party registration from Independent to Democrat this spring so I could vote for Hillary as the lesser of two evils. When she lost, and all we were left with is the inexperienced empty suit heading the Democratic ticket and McCain on the republican side, I was thinking of throwing a protest vote toward B. Barr. However, this pick of Palin has convinced me to vote McCain / Palin this fall.
