"he can be seen as an angry black man with a grudge."

You've got a good eye. I've caught wiffs of that. You can't miss it with Michelle. I caught a little of his acceptance speech (historical moment and all that) and they kept cutting away to Michelle. Very determined look on her face, a lot of jaw muscle stuff going on in her as he spoke.

It was part of Obama's original appeal that he didn't come across as angry. He now seems to be edging towards a more normal black political style, which is bad news for him in the general. Hillary also comes across as angry sometimes.

Like Peggy Noonan said, the Dems have been the anger on parade party lately.

It was remarked that Sarah Palin does not come across as angry, even though she's a reformer.

I was a little disappointed that the news sat on the fact that Leah Daughtry who was CEO of the Democratic Convention believes in slavery reparations and is co-pastor with her father whose church displays the banner, "They Owe Us."
