I only hope you are right BO and his wife are very dangerous people to be elected to high office.

Unfortunate to few see this and had a bad choice to chose form Edwards or Hillary both at the same degree of danger to our country – IMHO.

It is very very sad that all what the Democratic party had to offer as candidates for presidency where those individuals I mentioned above

Anybody who thinks the VP choice is the route for change is mistaken. She was picked because she is young, full of energy, from a state with an energy surplus (and oil fields sought after) and above all else, anti-abortion and pro-gun. The latter two are all millions of Americans who really want to vote GOP but have hedge at McCain need to know.

Like every VP in history except the current one who has an alki for a prez, she'll have little power unless McCain leaves office for some reason.

If she actually were president... maybe that would be good. You don't have to have a lot of experience to make the right moves. Trouble is, most people still think we've made the right moves for the past few years.

So, for now, she's relief to those who've had that nagging feeling that voting for McCain is more of the same, etc. They can vote McCain now guilt free, and isn't that what it's all about?

As an aside, my dad heard a commentator on TV (not Faux news) who actually wondered on camera if the hurricane would "...disrupt OUR convention..." <g>
