You can buy/sell "options" on any of the political races at intrade.com.

The best buy right now looks to be McCain to win election at 38. This is clearly a reflection of the current polling data which doesn't take into account that Obama has finished his big convention splash while McCain hasn't had his. If McCain's convention does well, this could be a ten point gain within a week or ten days.

I don't know where you place your bets but they have been betting on everything.....the primaries, the election, the VP picks, etc. Now its McCain dropping Palin. I don't think he will do that but weirder things have happened......like not vetting your VP pick.
