Ted, that blog entry was posted today. You know, after the phrase "heartbeat away from the presidency" was parroted by liberals everywhere ...

Why would CJ or I lie, Ten? Its not the most common phrase but its definitely not new. The following is going to have to do......I don't have time to go through a million google entries looking for where someone said it with Biden's name. Its dated April, 2007...well before Palin:

"Give up? They are all former vice presidents of the United States. Of course, I only chose the least well known ones to make it harder. If Spiro Agnew and Al Gore were listed in it you would guess in a second. Even though all of them were “one heart beat away from the presidency,” it’s still akin to asking who lost the World Series in 1916 (the Brooklyn Robins, and I did Google that)."

Are you honestly trying to claim the phrase is new?

"Just what we need, another old white male one heartbeat away from the presidency. Give me a break. Or are you racists too?"

earth2tech.com

"a heart beat away from the oval office" takes on an increased urgency if the one in the oval office is 72. "

"A heart beat away from the presidency, I don't think so. I'm bitterly clinging to my guns and religion and voting for McCain.

I got a hit on this one, but it was archived.

"Joe Biden. Just a heartbeat away...

There are more. I got bored.

All of these predate the Palin announcement.
