When I ask, what do we "win", these clowns have absolutely nothing. Which is what we "win" for a trillion dollars. If we won all of Iraq's oil, it would makes a little sense, but it looks like China gets that.

I never advocated "capitulation"... this war was wrong in the build up, it was wrong on day one, day two, day three and every day there after. Every single day would have been a good day to end it.

"Ending" the war when you are behind equals capitulation.

I am being honest. I'm a pragmatist and look at results. You think some kind of face saving Republican political gain we got by paying off the Sunni insurgents (who were blowing up our troops with IEDs) changes the big picture. It doesn't.

You just prefaced a doctrinaire statement by saying "I'm a pragmatist" ...
