You mean this guy?
Vogler disappeared under suspicious circumstances in May 1993.[1] Convicted thief Manfried West confessed to having murdered Vogler the following year, in what he described as a plastic explosives sale gone bad.[1] Vogler's remains were discovered in a gravel pit east of Fairbanks, Alaska in October 1994 as a result of an anonymous tip.[1] They had been wrapped in a blue tarp secured with duct tape, and were identified through fingerprint analysis.[1] Vogler was buried in Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada, fulfulling a wish that he not be buried under the American flag. His second wife, Doris, who died of cancer in January 1992, is buried next to him.

I was in Alaska when that happened. Nothing much was made of it.

By the way, I once flew to Petersburg in the same plane as Wally Hickel, then governor. I guess that makes me suspect too, huh?

I do not see the relevance of your comparison at all. Sorry. Guess we see the world through different glasses.

I knew that.
