I do agree that it's a positive thing to have more women in politics... Oy! The infection spreads. Seen clearly, this gender identity stuff is just the newest of bigotries. Why care about the gender of someone when it comes to power or office - or anything else of note or import. I'm for exceptional people in places of power. People of backbone and principle. People who talk about 'getting more women' into positions of power are focused on the wrong thing.
