It isn't showing up on Snopes, and I have found two sites than say the Anchorage paper verifies her existence. And a poster who claims she's her cousin and she's real :) Also, she originally mailed it to 40 friends, and said they could mail it on, but not copy it on the web- she didn't want her email out there. Then once it got out there, people started adding stuff and changing it. What Dale posted seems to be the original, however. We get burned so much by halftruths and outright hoaxes. It's too bad.
