I think McCain is well intentioned

Frankly, I don't have a clue why we believe he is "well intentioned." He's been running for president forever. Personally, I think his "bipartisanship" in Congress has been staged with that in mind. Sure, he's bucked the party on some high profile issues. But looking at his actual voting record, he is very, very Republican.

I think he lost the high ground on that with the Palin pick.
Hard now to make the case that his motives are true.

In light of today's announcement about shielding her from the media, even Conservatives who are intellectually honest will have to admit that the "Country First" slogan is shameful hypocrisy
