ALASKA HOUSE PRIMARY: Don Young vs. Sean Parnell results due today __________________

The final count in Alaska's Republican House primary is due later today. Incumbent Congressman Don "Bridge-to-Nowhere" Young is leading Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell by 151 votes, with 25,000 absentee and questioned ballots to be counted.

Sara Palin is backing Sean Parnell. If he wins, it's a big win for Sarah on the anti-corruption theme, and the Republicans will likely keep this seat.

If Don Young wins, the Democrats have a good shot at beating him and picking up a seat in Congress.

P.S. Expect a possible recount.

Sounds like Alaska is the last place she would want to be for the next few weeks.
