yes, the Republicans talk a good game. In fact, Bush even talked a good game when it came to diversifying our energy sources.

Yeah.. as do the Democrats.. The perfect example of hypocrisy by the Dem leadership is Al Gore. All the time he's haranging "big oil" and promising alternative energy (8 years of Dem administration and nothing done), he's sitting on a fortune in OXY stock that his father accumulated working for Armand Hammer.. Gore worked to triple OXY's oil reserves by selling off the gov'ts Elk Hills oil reserve to them. Made himself a nice profit off that deal, and saved OXY's butt.

Plug OXY into this chart and see how well Mr. Gore has made out on that deal:

I highly doubt that he's sold that OXY stock.
