I see the answer to most all of the planets social ills as a one word solution....JOBs.

Political economy...yes.

Every country on the planet has a political structure, right down to basic Tribal....involving an economy of some sort.

Seems to me an understanding of a specific economy(or way of life?) is a huge advantage if the intention is to join their economy in some fashion.

Excellent subject...opens a few thousand doors of thought.
