I don't think Obama is so stupid he'd run up the kind of debt Bush has. I think he wants to do some things for the country, but Obama has kids, and he's a smart man- and he's not going to want to destabilize our budget any more than I do. That's what I think.

I already heard him say he wouldn't roll back the tax cuts without seeing how the economy is. He likes data. You can't tell me an intelligent guy who likes data is going to spend the country in to a black hole, and that a guy like McCain, who doesn't seem to have a care in the world about spending allied with a VP who tosses around money in the same way, is going to be the "safe" bet.

I'm not seeing it. I thought the talk about patriotism and humanism was so much window dressing for the sales pitch. After all, I can say it's my patriotism and humanism that makes me for Obama. But what's the point? Most of us are humanists and patriots here- and we come to different conclusions.
