Excellent! If you want to represent all people, business people are in the mix. I guess the next question will be what Sarah Palin has done for the down and out.

I think her new status as VP candidate will compel her to push the pipeline along because she really fudged the status of the pipeline during her speech. Halcro has it exactly right. She is vulnerable on this because her speech was full of untruthful spin on the line.

Problem is, she has raised taxes on the oilcos so much that several of the majors have dialed back their Alaska projects. They probably see no reason to help her out on the pipeline. Nonetheless, business is business and if she turns out to make concessions, perhaps we'll see something happen.
