The Supreme Court will not overturn the statute in question. Pastors are free to say whatever they want, there is no question of censorship ... HOWEVER, if they want tax exempt status then they must refrain for politics ... if pastors want to engage in politics they can simply give up their tax exempt status.

These guys are kind of dumb. You have that episcopal bishop Robinson endorsing and supporting Obama, but he just holds press conf on his own time and says he is only personally endorsing Obama. So, everyone says that is ok. These pastors could do the same thing if they wanted.

But, I wish pastors would not endorse candidates either as a church or personally.
