It is why I mentioned "cradle to cradle" to lane, which was not even commented on. You have misread me. I saw no need to comment on it since I had no issue with it. I am a wholehearted supporter of environmentally intelligent design. I don't think that someone who uses Energy Star as a model needs a lecture on Cradle to Cradle. I have been arguing the point that clumsy, convoluted solutions are not the answer. I spent a career designing policies and systems. Solutions need to be simple and natural. Hauling dishwashers back to the manufacturer ain't. That was my only issue thus the scope and direction of my comments.
