big difference between Palin's oil tax and the Democrats' is that Palin's goes straight into the pockets of her voters, whereas the Democrats' ends up in the belly of the government beast.

Well, what's to stop Obama doing the same thing? He wants a windfall tax on oil - and to give people making less than 250K a tax decrease - then maybe he should connect the dots. To make it even more effective - he could say he got the idea from Palin.
