Can you believe the arrogance which precedes the ignorance of most of these Obambi acolytes...?

Redlining is ok with you and this board? I see I have found SI's moral wasteland. One final quote.

"Can you honestly say you feel confident having someone who hasn't traveled outside the United States until last year, dealing with an insurgent Russia, with an Iran with nuclear ambitions, with an unstable Pakistan, not to mention the war on terror?

MCCAIN: Sure. Alaska is right next to Russia."

The "redlining" they were complaining about was the disparity in mortgage availability to different "groups" i.e. blacks, hispanics, etc., regardless of income or credit standing.

I don't think ANYBODY said they should just start handing out mortgages regardless of incomes or credit history. OR that they should give the lousiest deals to the most unsophisticated borrowers.

Countrywide and the rest of these crooks were just out to close as many mortgages as possible with the knowledge that somebody else would end up stuck with the worthless paper.

As far as that Raines guy...I think he should have gotten some jail time and some much STIFFER fines.
