As I said before, man could have evolved to some point and God could have intevened and created Man with a larger brain and endowed with a soul, the mechanism for communicating with God and the thing that persists after death.

Palin has some level of appeal to lots of people. Maybe the 'creationists' are throwing out the cash, but there's no way of knowing.

I believe liberals are overstating the size and the danger of so-called 'creationists'. But the whole brouha is working against Democrats. Keeping this supposed conflict worked up does not serve the party. I promise you.

I watched Keith O. and Rachel M. make fun of Palin last night for her supposed religious stand on things, and I cringed at the image of conservative church-going Democrats turning away in disgust. Both K and R were trying to be so clever but the net effect was one of belittling all people of religious faith.

It made me sad, and I kept thinking how this could have been staged by a right-wing operative intent on dividing the Dem party.
