If people interpret that phrase as a direct reference to Palin, it is they who are thinking of her as a pig. Going on the defensive and allowing the Republicans to get away with this policy of sliming Obama and then screaming "foul" because of a perfectly innocent phrase would be stupid, in my opinion. - Allen

I have always hated the gender/race politics practiced by various Democratic politicians, but of course, it turns out that the Republicans are no different.
