Good point John.

The pill emancipated millions of women, and gave them more control over their lives.

With emancipation comes a whole slew of complaints.

Where the pill failed abortion stepped in. Female secularists got huge voice, and did their all mighty best to convince women that abortion would prevent them from being, as The One would call it..............."punished"........with an unwanted child. There were other motives, but getting pregnant women out of the alleys and into clean doctor's offices for abortions was imperative.

I understand why they became so united and so loud. They were desperate to have their voices heard. And they were desperate to save the lives of women because of what was going on in dark alleys. So, many of them went to college and became lawyers and fought all the way to the SC to get their way.

Many people feel like they had it forced down their throats, and feel like they were bypassed in the discussion.

I guess that's what you get when your nation is run by men and they are faced with an angry crowd of women. -ng-

I don't have a crystal ball, but because that path was followed, it just might come back to punish us all.
