Yes he does. He has been letting it take him off message. He is much better when he is talking about real issues.

But then, don't we all suffer when the campaigns get so stupid that innocent remarks get all the attention and important issues don't get the air time? The media is eating this all up and we are all the worse for it. Rather than play the stupid lipstick clips every hour, why not put up a comparison of the candidates health care plans, energy plans etc. so we can make an informed decision about who to vote for and without it turning into a beauty pageant with name calling.

Yes, he does, because his opponents keep throwing them at him. He'd prefer to talk about the issues, since the majority of voters agree with him on most of them.
