Mish, dude. I have been trading the metals and energy stocks for the last 9 years. I have never seen a stomping like this in any sector. To even the untrained eye, this is highly unusual activity. ANY other time three hurricanes in a row run near or thru the Gulf, oil goes UP not down. If one hurricane "threatens" the gulf, there's a jump due to anticipation. Add the Russkies sitting on a pipeline via force to the equation.

The miners are at levels = to 300 gold. Sorry, not natural. It may fool you. It sure as hell ain't foolin' me.

Say or think what you want, but this stuff is suspect to anyone with an IQ higher than say 5.

i think that manipulation as the primary or sole cause is ridiculous. to suspect that parties who benefited tremendously by this turn of events would not conspire to make it happen is even more ridiculous
