Do you REALLY think the Alaskans in the Gov, either side, are going to "get" her on this issue now? It's dead as a doornail until after the election.

Yes, I wish she'd apologized and rehired Monegan back in July. I've seen some very hefty monetary awards for bungled firings in Alaska state government. If McCain/Palin wins the election, I think there's an outside chance that the new Governor could rehire Monegan with back pay. The position is still open.
