I agree with you about the travel, and think it would be better to just admit that,no I haven't been able to travel- but I read voraciously- rather than try to pretend two days in Kawait means much. I am not sure, though that she DOES read voraciously. I thought she came across teribly superficial, Q.

I agree that some of the questions that are always asked don't seem relevant. I never liked the question about books, either.

I thought she did fine when she was philosophizing/politicing. She's good at that. I just thought that when it came to actually knowing policy issues, she wasn't prepared.

I consider myself well read but I could not define the Bush Doctrine.

You're not running for VP.

Seems to me that anyone half paying attention, including you, knows it as the change of direction that justified Afghanistan, etc.
