I have to admit I used a similar options plan after 9/11. The time it took for AMAT to get well was way beyond any available options. Result - blood bath for me. Now I only sell options, I never buy. Will

Jacob, interesting idea to use KLIC for an AMAT option. Sometimes the two don't track well, however, in a given time frame

About 10 years ago there was a guy on the AMAT thread who trumpeted the idea of AMAT options.

He disappeared about six years ago....

Options can expire worthless as I'm sure he discovered.
