It does not matter who they would have picked up. Palin's right wing religious wacko views would have come out no matter what. Palin is a religious extremist wacko and the last place anyone would want her is with her finger on the nuclear button.

I would like to set aside politics for a moment and share that I had never imagined that we have such a big asshole in the WH and that not only is he sitting on his butt but that we the people are also sitting on our butts. The Lehman news is very scary and I have a gut feeling that over this weekend we will have another Bear Stearns in the making with Lehman. This is a goddamn collapse of the economy. Instead people (the press) are talking about lipstick. Even AIG is on a slide. Not that it has much downside left to go. The smis have also been downgraded. I don't see any outrage. I wanted to address this to you since you seem to dabble with folks in the Stack Exchange and those types. Can you shed some light here.
