That's funny, Dale.

Budhist monks are more than cool, for me anyway. Just looking at them in their red robes makes me smile. Mormons are closer to Budhism than any other Western religion. We don't believe in reincarnation, i.e. coming back into this world for another earthly life, but we believe in "spiritual progression". We take our character and our knowledge with us after death and have opportunities to enhance or perfect them further in another form of existence.

I think with Budhists there is no remembrance of their former life or lives. We have continuous consciousness, according to our doctrine anyway.

This is why Buddhism is so cool

I agree that Buddhism is cool. It has features that support followers as they struggle through life yet does absolutely no harm. All pluses, no minuses.
