I'm not sure what you are arguing. If you are trying to show that Palin was like every other Governor trying to improve the economy of her state through Federal assistance, ok, and so what? If you are trying to show that she accepted earmarked funding in that process while Governor, ok, so what? She also acted on something that was found to be corrupt and did so in a grand and ethical manner, probably in part because of encouragement from McCain back then. Now she has formed an alliance with McCain to fight that issue as a platform. So?
