If Bush said that, it's the dumbest thing he ever said. It sounds as though he was under stress at the time, and the remark should not be taken literally.

But I hardly think he is using the constitution like toilet paper.

Those of us who are familiar with it understand the separation of powers, and every thing the President does is subject to the constitution, review by the Supreme Court, and funding by Congress.

The Constitution is under no danger, unless Obama gets in office. He wants to trifle with the Bill of Rights, specifically the Second Amendment. But we've been all through that, and I don't wish to resume the debate since you all are blind to the danger of such a possibility.
