OT: iso, Dell vs. AAPL... Dell's biz model is broken... it used to be all about how they could build and ship custom gear cheaper and faster than anyone else... now they are forced to outsource manufacturing and their margins are shrinking fast... they have no new sources of revenues, etc... while AAPL continues to grow and expand (or create) new markets and profit centers, all of which serves to increase the sales of their core product (computers) -- their market share has been climbing faster than the overall computer market at a double-digit rate... iPhone sales will blow out the Q numbers, as will CPU sales, which are running higher YOY despite the lousy economy... and much of the iPhone revs are deferred... these are all reasons why I believe AAPL has been taken down as hedgies were liquidating: AAPL was one they could actually sell and raise decent cash even at these prices.
