That sounds like another way to put US taxpayers further into hock, which shouldn't really raise the value of US dollar in terms of gold ... but the reflex for some was maybe to reduce gold and move to stocks, how long do you think that will last

If you take this week's gold run as from 748[? - not sure] to 918, that's a 170 range, half-way back is at 833, only a dollar ten above where it bounced from this afternoon ... funny how the .50 fib thing can work out on retrace [even though Fibonacci himself is not known to have used it in trading]
