Thanks, Bob. I doubt that this is the low for the bear market, but by now things are extremely oversold, and bearishness was rampant recently. Everyone and his classmate were seriously discussing the end of the world as we know it. Trading a bear market is not easy... glad that my day job forces me to adopt a longer term perspective. Trying to trade this sh*t upclose would be very unhealthy... :)

At this point it may not matter what the CDOs are worth today ..

When Deep Pockets [Gvmt] arrive to Absorb them .. and hold them Until Maturity ...

That takes the Uncertainty "Out of the Market" for the Financials.

Now we are dealing with the Certainty that the Financials will "Sink or Swim" based on their own Merits and their own Stupidity.

It does matter if the Public or the Masses are Protected from the Meltdown. And the "Dominoes Effect".

Follow Thru on the Plan is Very Important at this Juncture ..
