That post is sure spot on. I just had a stress test and passed it at 140% of my age group. I also at the same time at an EBT scan and show a score of 900 which is as you know pretty bad and in the 85% percentile for my age group. So I am getting good flow but have heavy calcium/plaque in my sub intima area of the arteries. Key is to try and stabalize and reduce it with statins- 80mg and keep the artery wall smooth with aspirin and aces and diet of course including fish oil.

I just forwarded this advice to a friend who has all ready had a stroke and just took a stress test which was negative.

There is a lot of good advice on this thread and ECharter's thread. Good people post their confessionals(smile) but sharing is the only way we can help one another.
