Call me old fashioned but the volume today did not appear to support the move. Huge short covering, but I don't see evidence that institutions jumped back in. Time will tell. On vacation, so not trading and don't have my usual charts but I also note it was options expiration day. If we get another several days up on high volume I'll set aside my skepticism. Speaking of options,with the short ban, I am hearing lots of confusion about the effects on calls and puts going forward, as well.
