Polysilicon is similar to copper and lumber in that it is highly dependent on the business cycle. I would prefer commodities like gold and grains that do not depend so much on industrial demand, but tend to be decent inflation hedges.

I hope you guys who were speculating on WaMu got out today. FDIC took over WaMu tonight; shareholders zapped. JP Morgan buying the deposits.
