kaka, oops! I won't search for any other WM posts. I hope for those who own WM that it will come back a little, like FRE and FNM. NO financials!

I guess the takeaway from this for an investor who sells CCs for income is either to be sure that the underlying company is sound or just to recognize that you are gambling with the principal in the stretch for income.

I did suggest WM as a covered call write on the 19th of Sept.

At that date it did look like they would be acquired.

But in this market perspectives change quickly, and there is no protection from a reversal in outlook.

Some financials have worked out well for me. UYG, XLF, C, WFC and others have been a pain MBI, WM, FRE FNM.
