Sam,

Re: 'What is the risk in your strategy? How long have you been doing it and when is the last time you had an unprofitable month?'

The risk is that I'm becoming very naked....less longs to limit loss, but I'm very disciplined.

Been trading for about 15 years; professionally for ~9 years. Still trying to balance medicine and trading, but medicine is becoming more and more distant. Usually there is less blood on wall street than in the ER's I work in, although this hasn't been true lately !!

Net Liquidating value month (or expiration cycle to next) less than the previous month occurs rarely now that I am basically out of positions each month. It has occurred when I have some longer term positions on, underlying goes against it and the large negative value reduces net liq value. Haven't had a cash balance less than previous month balance since the month or two following 9-11-2001 when I had to cover a ton of Dell puts. After the Dell debacle, I was done with equities in large volume of contracts. Every contract I sell adds new money to account; the new money is added to institutional money market funds.

Have a great weekend.

Cheers,
