How can Palin be a serious candidate when she becomes unglued in any unscripted public appearance? She can’t even get through an interview with Katie Couric. I originally liked the Palin pick a lot, but I was wrong— it’s perhaps turned out to be McCain biggest impediment to winning the election. I hope she can get through the debate without embarrassing herself unduly. At least the debate format—no direct questioning of one candidate by the other—works to her advantage.
