There didn't appear to be anything about Lilly getting a board member with the deal. 2mil shares is quite a small %. Doesn't look like a takeover is in their plans.

PS::Anyone's comments would be appreciated--but I'm just trying to "stick" 9800.

Let's make 9800 a positive post. Like so much of Ligand's affairs, This deal is complex-and will be appreciated much more with the passage of time. I see Ligand getting some cash flow and profit from these close-to-approval drugs and then parlaying the money into much more profitable later-generation products.
