Fascinating day... we witnessed a real crash - major indices are 7 - 9% down in one day. I am down for the day - my shorts were not enough to hedge large (for me) positions in oils and energies. Couldn't help it - sold Oct DIG puts at panic prices. Also sold some covered puts against (some of) my short SPY's. Added a little to my royalties - they may go down more, but with a stock like HTE yielding close to 20% it's worth the risk, I think. All that said, imo it is a good idea not to get overexposed, and to keep a healthy part of one's dough in cash.
