I understand what you mean about insurance and tripling our policies. To add insult to injury, they want to have our taxes on the beach go to $8000 a year..for a 1200 sq. ft. condo. and they wonder why the taxpayers are revolting against this new bail out..So now their telling us we'll still pay for it in the end..so shut up and put up the money..

That is terrible about your wonderful picture...does anyone else have a copy, or would it be possible to go back to the source to get a copy? That is one reason, I don't keep anything of value at my condo, but houses in town can be just as bad..all it takes is one tornado, or flood, and everything is gone.

Your grandson sounds like a sweet boy to do that for his PawPaw..they are a love, aren't they?

As for living on the beach I, like you, was ready to throw in the towel after three hurricanes in a row, but every time I go, and walk the beach or watch the sunset, I change my mind..Maybe ONE more time!!!
