I never saw a patient of any of the preventional cardiologists come in with a heart attack. These guys do good work. This stuff is worth while.

The problem for the preventionist is that he can't make the same money that an interventionist can. The whole Cardiology setup is geared toward doing procedures. The Hospitals would lose a huge source of income.

My HMO, Kaiser, is a perfect place for a preventionist to work. But they seem to have the same attitude.
