Doug: Two quick questions re: this from Arcxel web site: <<Classes of service supported: FC Class 1, Intermix, Class 2 and Class 3>> 1) Does (as Patrick Sharkey states in his post #7553) "supported" mean something different than just being Class 1? 2) Do you think Arcxel has done an end-run around Ancor's patent or have they paid royalties? Is Ancor's patent only for facilitating Class 1 instead of controlling Class 1? Thanks, E

I have only visited ANCR's web site a couple of times including tonight. I decided to stop by Brocade's tonight for the first time as well. I don't spend any time researching ANCR. The point I'm trying to make is that I would bet that some of the ANCR zealots from this thread DID know about Hucom/Arxcel, and didn't share it with the thread. That's their perogative. They aren't obligated to provide info that they uncover with this thread. If I make a bad trade on ANCR because I was too lazy to do the research that is my problem. The problem I do have is that certain individuals have claimed that this thread is so great because it is so informative and it presents the good along with the bad. I am slowly but surely finding out that this is not the case. This thread clearly puts a positive spin on everything and tends to leave out negative things. All I am asking for is the accountability that this thread claims it is famous for... P.S.
