I think you are exactly correct. And the great fear of wall street is that now the world knows they were scammed, they won't be back as quick. That is why they need 700 billion to make good to the FOREIGN investors and those inflows arriving on American shores.

Maybe those Chinese and Europeans are dumb enough to play again. I dunno, but with my money I'll find a different game before I come back to the table with the dealer that cheated me the first time.
