tho I agree with someone who posted that maybe you don't realize how far we've come? especially if from CA and Alaska (I moved from TX to CA at age 10, lived there until 32, then back 'home' to Alabama). We have our troubles, but people mostly get along, and feel free to 'hate' each other as they will so long as they are 'neighborly' about it, if that makes any sense. It's been a rough many decades, but change has come and is coming.

I know, but having it in the LAW is different. It is openly humiliating. And cruel at times. A wonderful black father with his little girl who has to go to the bathroom, but the sign says "whites only".
