She hit the folksy button hard from the start when she asked Biden if she could call him "Joe". She emphasized that several times throughout the debate. Like when she proudly proclaimed she and Todd were just middle class. Which, is true. But it ignores the fact that they are right there at the top, having a family income around 4 times the average household income of Alaskans.
