whackode00,

Biden told his share of whoppers....

As for Palin's "blunders", you must have watched a different debate than I.....other than botching McKiernan's name there were none....and at least she can say "characterize"....

I would say on substance Biden was probably a bit better and on style and presence Plain was better....overall a tie or maybe slight edge to Biden....

But then, I didn't really expect you to be objective or rational.

J.

If one is looking at substance of what was said, it was no contest.

Palin avoided having a deer in the headlights moment so it was a big success for her.

She also matched Biden for charm. She's very charming.

But if one looks at the substance of what was being said, Biden won hands down.

Palin also said that Main Street was responsible for the toxic mess that was spilling over into Wall Street

What part was that, when she blamed people for buying 300K homes when they should have bought 100K homes? I did hear her say something like "THEY made everybody think it was a good idea to buy 300K houses"... I guess the THEY was wall street? Or was it another section of the debate I missed?

I did miss part of it

You do realize that statements like this make posters on both sides look silly...

Considering her utter lack of knowledge about the world outside of Wasilla, maybe she actually meant to say these things.
